I  want to say how delighted I am with my sewing machine’s performance after the service and TLC you rendered. I had not realised how “clumpy” it had become but now it glides so smoothly now!  It was local too, so easy to deliver and collect myself even in a pandemic!

My two young nieces are learning to sew at school so I wanted to lend them my old machine to practice on. Unfortunately, when my mum tested it for me she said the stitching was ‘skipping’. I found Mr Hall on the Internet and he very kindly picked it up from Mum, fixed it and brought it back to her in perfect working order within ten days for a very reasonable price. Mum says he was an ‘absolute sweetie’ and very courteous. And you should have seen the look of joy and delight on the children’s faces when it was presented to them. Tony collected my machine the day after I called him, and delivered it back to me, not just fixed but fully serviced too, just 6 days later. My sewing machine is over 25 years old, and I had given up hope of finding someone to fix it, so I am really delighted to have discovered Southern Counties Sewing.
